The future of work is evolving. The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of new technologies and has forced companies to rethink their strategies. There are several implications for how work will get done going forward. This is an opportunity for companies to attract, engage and develop employees using a new paradigm, or run the risk of facing high turnover and low morale if they take too rigid of an approach.

Databricks
Amy brings to Databricks more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing innovative, results-oriented people programs in high-growth environments. She leads all of the company’s global HR programs, including talent acquisition, total rewards, performance enablement, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining Databricks, Amy served as the Chief People Officer at Adaptive Insights, a Workday company for five years and was responsible for leading human resources worldwide. Preceding Adaptive Insights, Amy was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at E2open for eight years. Amy holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University, a masters in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University, and a bachelors in psychology from University of California, Los Angeles.

Ina Strand has held the Chief People Officer position since April 2017. Ina was previously Senior Vice-President of Special Projects since 2014, working on many global projects, including the development and introduction of the new global Circle K brand.
Ina joined Statoil Retail Norway AS in 2003 as a People Development manager, and was later appointed Human Resources Director, Customer Offer Director and deputy Vice-President of Operations in Norway before she joined Statoil Fuel & Retail’s Executive leadership team as Executive Vice President of Market Development when the company was publicly listed October 1st, 2010.
Ina holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.
